Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat.
While cooking the meat, heat refried beans in a separate pan over medium-high heat.
Once heated, turn off the burner for the refried beans.
When the meat is almost done, add chopped green chilies, taco seasoning, enchilada sauce, and chopped onion to the skillet.
Cook the meat mixture until the meat is fully cooked and the vegetables are tender.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Spray the foil with non-stick cooking spray.
Arrange four tortillas on the prepared baking sheet, slightly overlapping.
Top the tortillas with a layer of the meat mixture and shredded Mexican cheese.
Place another tortilla on top of the cheese and meat layer.
Add a layer of heated refried beans and a spoonful of enchilada sauce.
Place another tortilla on top of the bean layer.
Add more meat mixture and cheese.
Repeat the layering process until each original tortilla is stacked with five tortillas.
Add cheese to any layer, according to your preference.
Cover the baking sheet with foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Cut into portions using a pizza cutter.
Serve with sour cream and hot sauce.
