Combine all masala mix ingredients in a spice mill or blender and grind until finely ground.
Store the remaining masala mix in an airtight jar for later use.
In a saucepan, pour milk and water.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Add sugar, tea leaves, and a pinch of the prepared masala spice mix to the boiling milk and water.
Stir the mixture continuously until it turns dark and the flavors are well combined (approximately 8 minutes).
Remove the saucepan from heat.
Strain the tea into cups.
Serve the spiced milk tea hot and enjoy.
