Chop paneer into cubes.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan.

Fry paneer until brown on each side and set aside.

Add the remaining oil to the pan.

Add sugar and let it melt and caramelize.

Add chopped onion, red pepper, green chilies, ginger, and garlic to the pan.
