Cut the carrots into 1/2 inch pieces.
Cut the red bell peppers into 1/2 inch pieces.
Chop the onion.
Mince the garlic.
Rinse and drain the cannellini beans.
Cut chicken thighs into 1 inch pieces.
Halve the cooked smoked turkey sausage lengthwise and cut into 1/2 inch slices.
Put the carrots, pepper, onion, garlic, beans, undrained tomatoes, chicken, and sausage into a 4-5 quart slow cooker.
Add in chicken broth, wine, parsley, thyme, cayenne, and bay leaf.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours.
Adjust seasoning to taste.
Discard bay leaf.
Serve hot.
