thinly sliced, coarsely chopped

shredded or thinly sliced
sweet onion

green pepper
minced
cumin
dried dill

Heat olive oil in a fry pan over medium heat.
Add minced green peppers, onions, minced garlic, cumin, and dill to the pan.
Fry until peppers and onions are cooked through, stirring constantly.
Remove the pepper and onion mixture from the pan and set aside.
Fry thinly sliced ham in the same pan until slightly browned.
Remove ham from heat.
Spread Dijon mustard onto one side of each bread slice.
Distribute 1/4 of the onion/green pepper mixture onto one slice of bread.
Top the onion/pepper mixture with 1/4 of the fried ham.
Place 1/4 of the shredded cheese on top of the ham.
Spread Miracle Whip on the other slice of bread and place it on top of the cheese.
Mix light margarine with garlic powder.
Spread this mixture on top of the sandwich.
Turn on the fry pan to medium heat.
Carefully flip the sandwich, margarine side down, into the pan.
Place another fry pan on top of the sandwich to weight it down (or use a panini press).
After a few minutes, flip the sandwich.
Spread more margarine with garlic powder on the bread.
Replace the pan on top.
Fry for a few more minutes on medium heat until the bread is golden brown.
Remove from heat, cut into slices, and serve warm with fresh fruit.
