Butter and cocoa powder dust a 6-cup fluted tube pan.

In another bowl, cream butter with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add brown sugar and coffee powder, beating until well combined.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then beat for 2 minutes.
Add orange peel.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with banana puree, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Spoon batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for about 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a rack to cool completely.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
