Preheat oven according to cake mix package directions.
Prepare cake batter by combining cake mix, water, egg whites, and oil.
Mix until well combined.
Pour batter into two 8 or 9 inch round cake pans, or one 9 x 13 inch cake pan.

Remove cake from oven and let cool in pan for 10-15 minutes.
Remove cake from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
