Heat ghee in a kadai.
Add semolina and roast until it starts giving a nice aroma and the color changes to light golden brown.
Add hot boiling water slowly and keep stirring.
Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well.
Cover and let simmer for 2 minutes.
Add strawberry compote and cook for another 2 minutes or until done.
Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with sliced nuts.
