Mix whole wheat flour, wheat bran, and cornflour in a bowl.
Add half of the water and continue mixing.
Gradually add the remaining water until a slightly sticky dough forms.
Shape the dough into 8 individual balls.
Flatten the balls into round patties approximately 1-2 cms thick.
Put the patties in a steamer.
Steam on high heat for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium when steam is visible, and continue steaming for another 10 minutes.
Remove immediately from steamer after they're done.
