thawed and well drained

spaghetti sauce
lasagna noodle

In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, thawed and drained spinach, egg, salt, pepper, and oregano. Stir well to combine.
Spread 1/3 of your favorite spaghetti sauce in a greased 9x13" baking dish.
Place 1/2 of the uncooked lasagna noodles over the sauce layer.
Spread 1/2 of the ricotta cheese mixture evenly over the noodles.
Repeat the layering: sauce, noodles, cheese mixture.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
Dribble a bit of the reserved sauce over the top of the mozzarella cheese.
Pour water around the edges of the dish.
Cover the baking dish securely with aluminum foil.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
