condensed cream of celery soup
dried oregano

dried thyme

Trim the fat from the beef round steak.
Cut the steak into serving size portions.
Place the sliced onion in a 3 1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker.
Place the cut steak pieces on top of the onion.
In a small bowl, combine the condensed cream of celery soup, dried oregano, dried thyme, and black pepper.
Pour the soup mixture over the meat.

Cook on low heat setting for 10 to 12 hours, or on high heat setting for 5 to 6 hours.
