Roll the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.
Spread pizza or tomato sauce evenly over the dough.

Top with sliced artichoke hearts, sliced mushrooms, roasted bell pepper strips, sliced green olives, and halved and sliced red onion rings.
Add asparagus if using.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the toppings.

Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing into wedges.
