Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Remove 1 cup of yellow cake mix.
In a bowl, mix the remaining cake mix, 1 stick of oleo (softened), and 1 egg with a fork until combined.
Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
In a separate bowl, combine the removed 1 cup cake mix, large can of pumpkin, 4 eggs, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 c brown sugar, 1/4 c white sugar, and 2/3 c milk.
Pour the pumpkin mixture over the cake base.
Sprinkle 1/2 c sugar and 1/2 c walnuts over the top.
Dot with 1/3 stick of oleo (cut into small pieces).
Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely before serving.
