In a small saucepan, combine 3/4 cup water, 3 tablespoons sugar, and 1 teaspoon white vinegar.
Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over medium heat.
In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup cornstarch (or cornflour) with 3/4 cup cold water until smooth.
Reduce the heat under the boiling water mixture to very low.
Slowly add the cornstarch mixture to the saucepan while stirring constantly.
Continue to stir constantly for about 2 minutes, or until the mixture thickens to a glue-like consistency.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the glue cool.
Use warm for paper mache projects or allow to cool completely for storage in a glue bottle.
