Place milk in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Step 3
~5 min

Remove from heat and pour milk into the bowl with the butter. Whisk until butter is completely melted.

Step 4
~5 min

Whisk in sugar until combined.

Step 5
~5 min

If mixture is still above lukewarm, whisk in 1/2 cup of the flour until combined.

Step 6
~5 min

Sprinkle in yeast and briefly whisk. Let mixture sit for 10 minutes, until foamy.

Step 7
~5 min

Step 8
~5 min

Knead dough for about 10 minutes, or until dough pulls away from sides of bowl.

Step 9
~5 min

Drop Nutella by spoonfuls over cinnamon filling and lightly spread to flatten each mound.

Step 20
~5 min

Return to oven for 1 1/2 minutes, or until marshmallows are very soft and melty.

~5 min

Step 22
~5 min

Serve warm and enjoy with a cup of hot chocolate.

Pro Tips & Suggestions

Expert advice for the best results

For a richer flavor, use browned butter in the filling.

If you don't have Nutella, you can use other chocolate hazelnut spreads or just add more cinnamon filling.

Be careful not to overbake the rolls, as they can become dry.
