Peel the ripe mangoes and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add mustard seeds and let them crackle.
Add asafoetida, curry leaves, and green chilies.
Sauté for 1 minute.
Add the peeled mangoes and sauté until slightly softened.
Add red chili powder, 1 cup of water, tamarind paste, and salt.
Cover and bring to a boil.
Once the water starts evaporating, add another cup of water and boil again until the pulusu thickens.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Switch off the heat.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
