If using frozen mango chunks, thaw them at room temperature for 30 minutes.
If using a fresh mango, peel and cut it into chunks.
Puree the mango chunks in a blender or food processor until smooth.
Pour boiling water over the black tea bags in a heat-resistant container.
Cover the container and steep the tea bags for 5 minutes.
Remove the tea bags from the water.
Add the mango puree to the brewed black tea, using a ratio of approximately 2 parts tea to 1 part puree.
Stir well to combine the tea and mango puree.
Cover the tea mixture and refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until completely cool.
Strain the tea through a sieve or cheesecloth to remove any mango pulp.
Squeeze out as much tea from the mango remains as possible.
Sweeten the iced tea with honey or your preferred sweetener to taste.
Serve the mango iced tea over ice.
