Melt margarine in a large saucepan over low heat.

Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.

Remove from heat.

Add Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.

Coat a 1/2 cup measure with cooking spray.

Portion the hot cereal mixture using the coated measuring cup.

Shape each portion into a ball and insert a wooden stick.

Roll and press the ball in flaked coconut or drizzle with melted chocolate.

Create faces on the balls with frosting, marshmallows or candies, if desired.

Serve the same day for best results.

For microwave directions: In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat margarine and marshmallows at HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.

Stir until smooth.
