Combine chopped cranberries, chopped peeled pear, honey, currants, pumpkin pie spice, cranberry juice, red wine vinegar, and lemon juice in a heavy saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Uncover and cook for 5 more minutes, or until slightly thickened.
Cool to room temperature.
Cut a circle in the top rind of the brie, leaving a 1/4" border.
Carefully remove the center circle of rind from the cheese, leaving the border intact.
Place the brie in a pie plate or on an ovenproof platter.
Spread the cranberry mixture over the top of the brie.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.
Serve immediately with french bread, crackers, or slices of apple or pear.
