Sugar
Bring milk to a boil in a heavy bottomed pan.
Turn off heat and add lemon salt mixed with water.
Cover and let sit for 5 minutes to curdle.
Cook curdled mixture on medium-high heat for 30-40 minutes until whey has evaporated.
Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
Add white vinegar and cook for 8-10 minutes.
Add cocoa powder, flour, and ghee.
Stir until glossy and halwa leaves the sides of the pan.
Sprinkle cardamom powder and saffron strands.
Mix well.
Add slivered almonds and mix.
Grease a plate with ghee.
Transfer halwa and press into a slab.
Cool completely and slice.
Serve as a dessert.
