Add lime juice, chopped apple, raisins, ketchup, and cloves to the onion mixture.
Stir in the hydrated TVP.
Add the chestnuts, if using.
Add coconut, if using.
Season with sea salt to taste.
Simmer, covered, very gently for at least 20 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Serve hot on a bed of cooked rice.
