Follow these steps for perfect results
breadstick

Preheat oven to 180°C (fan-forced).
Cut the breadstick into 3cm thick slices on the diagonal, being careful not to cut all the way through.
Spread each cut side of the bread alternately with butter, then Vegemite.
Place a slice of cheese into each cut.
Continue until each split has Vegemite and cheese.
Wrap the filled breadstick in foil.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
Unwrap the top of the foil to expose the top of the breadstick.
Return to the oven and bake for a further 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
Serve immediately.
