Prepare green pea paste: Combine green peas, garlic, onion, ginger, coriander leaves, and a little water in a mixer jar. Blend into a smooth paste.
Make the batter: In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, green pea paste, fennel seeds powder, sesame seeds, carom seeds, salt, and all the spices.
Add water gradually to the mixture, mixing continuously until you achieve a smooth, pourable batter.
Heat a skillet or flat pan over medium heat.
Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot skillet and spread it into a thin, round shape, similar to a dosa.
Drizzle a little oil around the edges and on top of the cheela.
Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, or until golden brown.
Flip the cheela carefully and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the cheela from the skillet and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
Serve hot with Dhaniya Pudina Chutney or any chutney of your choice.
